10 Policemen nabbed in connection with bank's missing N14m

For their alleged involvement in the disappearance of N14m from a bullion van belonging to a new generation Bank in Warri, Delta State Police Command have arrested and detained Ten of its officers. The officers who were said to have escorted the
bullion van from Effurun to Ekpan on Monday were fingered for the theft and were consequently picked up and later transferred from the Police Area Commander’s Office, Warri, to the State Police Command, Asaba, for further questioning following the directives of the Area Commander.
Confirming the arrest, the Delta State Police Spokesman, DSP Charles Muka said he was aware of the arrest, but is yet to be adequately briefed on the development.
