Emevor group appoints an Executive Secretary

An online group of Citizens of Emevor Community in Isoko North local Government Area, Delta State, Emevor Sons and Daughter (ESAD) have appointed an executive Secretary to pilot the affairs of the Group's secretariat pending the official constitution of a substantive executive. He is Mr. Akpotha Fidelis Okah. Okah, a graduate of
History and International Relations from the Delta State University, Abraka has been a leading voice in the call for Government attention to the travails of the people of Emevor and by extension Isoko.
The group whose membership cuts across various age groups, profession and genders also has among others; citizens abroad like those in America, Europe and Asia, all united with a common goal of addressing the gross neglect of the community by successive Governments.
Confirming the appointment which has a unanimous support of over 95% of the group's membership, the Administrator, Comrade Palmer Ogheneyole Nathaniel explained that the group which was formed over a year ago is aimed at assembling indigens of the Community who are pained by either the conscious or unconscious deprivation of the of their birthplace by concerned authorities, as well as restrategising on possible ways of moving the community from its sorry state. According to Palmer: "Our goal is simple and direct. We are no longer comfortable with remaining mute in the face of hard-hearted neglect, we are poised to questioning the rationale behind the cruel conspiracy against our community", he said.
"Continuing, "We will not relent till we take our community to an enviable height, ours is a brave rejection of an obviously dsyfunctional order. We are calling on government at all levels to for once listen to the cries of a people trapped in underdeveloped and egregious infrastructural decay.
"The appointment of Okah is a giant leap into the future. He is one of the brightest among us, and a soldier to the core. As I congratulate him on this opportunity to once again serve his community, I pray that God in his infinite mercies favour him in all his endeavours.
The group also parades foremost American based Industrialist, Mr. Godwin Onoriobe, Political strategists and former Board chairman of School of health technology, Ofuoma, Pharm (Dr.) Nelson Ejapkovi, former Governorship Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and first Nigerian Combatant Soldier to bag a PhD, Prof. Saliba Mukoro, Former Secretary, Federal Revenue Mobilization and fiscal commission, Deacon Patrick Emerhana, Branch Manager Ecobank Plc, Warri 2, Mr. Jonathan Ososuakpor, Mr. Otobo Ugbome, current President of the University of Benin Students Union Government, Comrade Eniwake Orogun, Deacon Abraham Ifode, Mr. Francis Sogolo, Barr. Paul Emerhana, Chief Onaemo Afisi, and many others as members.
