HAPPENING NOW IN PLATEAU STATE: Gun battle reportedly ongoing in Bukuru town, direction unknown to the populace that results in panic driving around the streets! Confusion. Another reported Bomb blast at bwandang not yet confirmed.
Available information indicates the shooting started after an explosion rocked an Islamic school in the Jos South Local Government Secretariat, along the Bukuru expressway.
Another report said an "improvised rocket was fired from a distance" on the Muslim area of Bukuru, and that one person is confirmed dead."
