SUPREME COURT ADJOURNS UCHE OGAH VS GOVERNOR OKEZIE IKPEAZU'S CASE:

BY SIR DON UBANI

Following self disqualification of Justice Amina Augie whose conscience might have deeply tormented her over the role she played as the presiding Judge of the Appeal Court that sat at Owerri which had erroneously, spuriously and unjustifiably declared Alex Otti as governor of Abia State against Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the Supreme Court, not being properly constituted as a result of her disqualification and no immediate replacement, was compelled to adjourn the hearing of Ogah versus Governor Ikpeazu's case that had been scheduled for today.

Most likely, the case would be called up in no distant time.

It is interesting to observe that some judicial officers who had failed to do the right thing in the immediate past now voluntarily pass vote of no confidence on themselves.

The prayer of the average indigene or resident of Abia State is that the Supreme Court would appropriately dispose of this case of unwarranted and unwanted distraction so that the Governor could concentrate all his efforts towards the development of God's own state.
