Kaduna Curfew relaxed

The Kaduna State Government this afternoon relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on the state following a gradual return of peace to the state, with the following details: 12pm- 4pm today. Then frm tomorw, 7am- 4pm in kaduna south, kaduna north,
chikun and igabi l.g.a. The rest of kaduna state will be frm 6am -6pm.
A statement signed by the Special Assistant, Media, to the Governor, Mr Reuben Buhari, said the curfew was relaxed by four hours on Monday to allow movement of people between noon and 4 p.m.
The 24-hour curfew was imposed on the state following bomb attacks on three churches, ECWA Church, Wusasa, Zaria; CKC, Sabon-Gari, Zaria and the Shalom Church of God Trikania, Kaduna.
Although the curfew was initially relaxed on June 18, it was reinstated the following day due to fresh violence in the state capital.
