Oshiomhole leads in Edo exit polls

Edo governorship Election results have  started trickling to elombah.com newsroom, and every indication is that incumbent Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, of the ACN is on his way to a second term at the helm of affairs. PDP Candidate, Airhiavbere was trounced in his unit as ACN polled 1,275 as against PDP's 167.

Tension in George Idah Primary School, Oredo LGA as youths threaten violence because of the refusal of the PDP AGENT IN Unit 4 to sign the result sheet. Meanwhile, ACN scored 388 to PDP’s 54.

Soldiers was called in to help resolve the dispute. The PDP agent is said to be missing, but youths have mounted vigil that the PDP agent must sign to authenticate the result.

PDP Candidate, Airhiavbere trounced in his unit as ACN polled 1,275 as against PDP's 167 - Palmer Ogheneyole Nathaniel 

Result declared at the Garrick memorial School, Oredo Ward 1 units 18, 19, 20, 20 where the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Gen. Charles Airiavbere (Rtd) voted, suggest that the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) won resoundingly beating his PDP counterpart with an astronomical magin. 

In unit 20, the PDP's Candidate polled a total of 38 votes as against ACN's 360. The ANPP got 2 votes while 33 were declared invalid. 

 In unit 19, PDP polled 32 while Osshiomhole's ACN got 254. ANPP again got 2 while 1 vote was declared invalid. 

In Unit 18 also in thesame centre, Airhiavbere's PDP got 65 votes while ACN scored 351 votes. ANPP and Labour Party got 1 votes each while 7 votes were voided.  

Lastly in unit 21, the PDP scored 33 votes while the ACN got 270 votes. The ANPP got 2 votes, CPC, 1 and LP nil.  

A summation of the results from the Centre showed that Charles Airhiavbere of PDP scored a total of 168 vote while ACN's Adams Oshiomhole got 1,275, ANPP's Solomon Edebiri 4 and LP 1. 

The PDP's Candidate who earlier told newsmen that the polls were free and fair and his unit however stormed out before the announcement.  

Similarly, at Oba Akenzua primary School housing Units, 22, 23, 24 and 25, the PDP's candidate appeared to have been beated with a distance haven scored 50 as against ACN's 756. The ANPP got 2 votes from the Centre while the remaining political parties got nothing.
