Chief Anthony Enahoro, 87, has died. Details of his death are still sketchy but elombah.com learnt that he died in Benin City this morning at about 1 am.
Chief Enahoro was admitted at the intensive unit of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH, on November 1, and was discharged two weeks later.

The Federal Government of Nigeria may have dropped charges against former United States Vice President Richard Bruce ‘Dick’ Cheney and other officials of Halliburton following payment of huge sums of money to the coffers of Nigeria. Agreements to that effect were said to have been reached at a meeting with US and Halliburton officials.
Halliburton reportedly agreed to pay about N20 billion as criminal penalty, while promising to liaise with the United States Government to recover the outstanding $I32 million which is currently frozen in Switzerland.
