2.5 million people die from deadly COVID-19 pandemic
COVID-19 Update
At least 2.5 million people have died from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The novel coronavirus has caused the deadliest global epidemic since the emergence of HIV/AIDS 40 years ago.
It is the deadliest respiratory pandemic in a century.
The disease was discovered in Wuhan, China, where it claimed several lives before it was contained.
The United States of America is the worst hit with over half a million Covid-related deaths.
