2019 Election: 84% Nigerians Chose Atiku In Online Poll


Some eighty-four per cent of Nigerians have chosen to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the forthcoming presidential election on Saturday.

Only 16% of those polled said that they will vote for the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari.

In the poll conducted by a political analyst – Mazi Chima Amadi – on his Twitter handle, the participants were asked to make any of the following choices:

  1. You voted in 2015 for GEJ but you will now vote PMB Choose 1.
  2. You voted in 2015 for PMB but you will now vote Atiku Choose 2
  3. You voted for PMB in 2015 and will do so again choose 3
  4. You voted GEJ in 2015 and will now vote Atiku choose 4. Kindly vote and RT

For question number 1, only 3% chose President Buhari, while 28% chose Alhaji Abubakar in the second questionnaire.

13% of participants polled chose Buhari for the third questionnaire, while a whopping 56% selected the former Vice President on the last questionnaire.
