2021: PRP vows to end APGA rein at Agu Awka
Ahead of the 2021 governorship election in Anambra State, the members of People’s Redemption Party (PRP) in the State have vowed to bring the rein of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) at the government house in Agu Awka to an end by fielding a candidate that is popular enough to beat the candidate of the incumbent ruling party.
The Chairman of PRP in the State, Chief Mattias Aninwachukwu, who made the vow during a courtesy visit to some members of Agbalanze titled men in Onitsha by PRP governorship aspirant Chief Nnamdi Nwawuo alias Igwe Ayaya said that the party which is the oldest in Nigeria is ready to take APGA to the cleaners come November 6, 2021 polls.
The PRP boss said that APGA has failed to deliver dividends of democracy more especially in the areas of rural development with amenities like roads, water and electricity, has also failed to elevate Onitsha with tangible projects and worst of all failed on job creation for the youth adding that PRP will nominate a youthful candidate from the rural area to trounce APGA at the polls.
He added “PRP will take advantage of the collosal failure of APGA to win the guber race to the government house in the Agu Awka in November.
“The All Progressive Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) cannot stop APGA as they are not acceptable to the people because they are under old and failed leaders, so we are here to rally your support and we are sure that with the support of distinguished people like you we are going to win the election”
In his words, PRP aspirant, Chief Nwawuo vowed to return Onitsha to its greatness with tangible development projects including construction of overhead bridge where neccesary to end traffic gridlock in the city if elected as governor.
