The Federal Executive Council, FEC, today approved the upgrade of the Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu to an international airport. Speaking after the weekly FEC meeting today, Minister of Aviation, Fidelia Njeze announced the Federal Government would pump N10.3billion into the rehabilitation of the airport to reflect its international status.
