Jonathan votes in Nigeria presidential election

The President and candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Goodluck  Jonathan has casted his vote in today’s presidential election at his Otuoke ward in Bayelsa.
He voted at about 12:35pm. His wife, Patience also voted at the polling centre.
Answering questions from newsmen, President Jonathan said Nigeria is witnessing a new dawn in its electoral life.
Jonathan, after voting, expressed confidence that there would be no need for run-off elections.
President Jonathan expressed optimism he was sure of victory at the presidential election , saying that he never contemplated failure when he decided to join the race.
The President was however quick to add that despite his optimism, should he lose the election, he would vacate the Aso Rock Villa for the winner.
