Jos killings, we warned you.

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance

Biafra FlagWe told you this several times before, and we are telling you this again. Finally the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba oligarchs who are determined to drive you out of your ancestral home and seize (steal) your land are now confessing openly about their plot to steal your land. On June 16, 2004 just three days ago Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Saminu Turaki and the Aare Latosa of Ibadan land Chief Adegboyega both in separate statements revealed the plan of the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba feudalists to steal land belonging to people of the Middle Belt – Biafra Foundation

SEE, WE TOLD YOU SO! THEY ARE AFTER YOUR LAND, DO YOU HEAR ME, THEY ARE REALLY AFTER YOUR LAND BY Biafra Foundation

We told you this several times before, and we are telling you this again. Finally the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba oligarchs who are determined to drive you out of your ancestral home and seize (steal) your land are now confessing openly about their plot to steal your land. On June 16, 2004 just three days ago Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Saminu Turaki and the Aare Latosa of Ibadan land Chief Adegboyega both in separate statements revealed the plan of the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba feudalists to steal land belonging to people of the Middle Belt (Idoma, Tiv, Igalla, Jukun, Igbirra, Bachama,Birom, etc) and Eastern Nigeria (Igbo, Edo, Efik, Ijaw, Ibibio, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ekoi, etc).

Alhaji Saminu Turaki was quoted in This Day News of June 16, 2004, web edition as saying that in Nigeria, “nobody is an indigene.” Governor Turaki stated that the settler/indigene dichotomy was central to the Yelwa-Shendam killings in Plateau State. He stated that Yakubu Gowon, Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Shehu Shagari, Lateef Jakande, are settlers in the respective communities in which they are now based. He even went further to state that late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Othman Dan Fodio were also settlers. Well said Governor Turaki but can you please tell us how it is that families (people) from Eastern Nigeria and the Middle Belt who have lived in Sokoto, Bauchi, Kano, Kaduna, Zaria, Yola, Maiduguri, Dutse, etc many for more than one hundred years are still regarded and treated as “strangers” and made to live in segregated strangers quarters called “Sabon Gari”.

We challenge Alhaji Turaki to tell us how many people from Eastern and Middle Belt Nigeria have been elected into the House of Assembly in Dutse, how many of them he appointed commissioners in his government, how many he appointed to head major corporations in his state, how many head major educational institutions in his state and many other questions too numerous to mention. Will Alhaji Turaki please explain to us why it is that Shagari, Babangida, Abubakar, and Gowon do not live in “Sabon Gari” in Sokoto, Kaduna or Kano? Will Alhaji Turaki please explain to us how it is that in the history of Nigeria only in Enugu, the political capital of Eastern Nigeria was Umoru Altine, a Hausa/Fulani, elected Mayor (an executive office) of Enugu the capital of Eastern Nigeria? Why no Easterner or person from the Middle Belt was ever elected mayor of Kaduna or Ibadan?

You see when the Hausa/Fulani are in your land they see themselves as indigenes, in fact owners of your land. When you venture into their homeland, they make you a perpetual stranger fit only for the “Sabon Gari.” That is why they are slaughtering and driving out the Birom, Angas, Bachama, Tiv, Jukun, and so many other smaller ethnic groups from their land and taking over their ancestral land. Ndigbo and other people in the Eastern part of Nigeria are you paying attention or are you sleeping as usual? The desert is encroaching on Northern Nigeria, swallowing up hundreds of square miles of land, turning it into sand dunes and leaving it unfit for agriculture or animal grazing. The Hausa/Fulani have thus been forced by the desert to keep migrating downwards in search of arable and grazing land for their crops and animals. They are not satisfied to lease of beg for land from the owners of the land. No. In their arrogance they insist on taking the land from the owners by force because they believe that they are your rulers. It is no wonder they refer to themselves as “born to rule.”

How about the Yoruba? The Aare Latosa of Yorubaland, Chief Adegboyega was quoted in Vanguard newspaper of June 16, 2004, web edition, as saying that “Omon’oba Erediuwa himself, the Oba of Benin is a Yoruba man.” He went further to say that “the people of Itsekiri, Urhobo, and Asaba are all Yoruba people.” Ndi Igbo and other Biafrans are you listening, do not understand where Chief Adegboyega is going with this stuff? If the Oba of Benin is a Yoruba man, then by implication all Edo people are Yoruba people and their land is Yoruba land. If the Itsekiri, Urhobo down to Asaba are Yoruba people then all the Igbo people living west of Asaba including Ibusa, Obomkpa, Onicha Ugbo, Onicha Olona, Isele Ukwu, Isele Azigba, Umunede, Ogwashi Ukwu, Agbor down to Igbo Akiri and surrounding Igbo towns are Yoruba towns and their land belongs to the Yoruba. Do you now see how the Yoruba are positioning themselves to steal your land? Several months ago we warned you that Yoruba leaders have started a campaign to destroy everything that will show that the Riverine Igbo people living in Opobo, Bonny (Ubani), Igwenga, Port Harcourt (Igweocha), Ndoki, Ikwere, Ahoada, Elele, Abo, Kwale (Ukwuani) and other Riverine towns are Igbo people. They have almost destroyed all the traditional Igbo Juju shrines and traditional religious practices in these places. They have been conducting a propaganda campaign of calumny against Ndigbo and urging the Riverine Igbo people to deny their Igbo heritage and stop speaking Igbo language. Remember that Bonny (Ubani) Igbo was used in translating English Bible into some of the earliest Igbo Bibles. This campaign is very well funded with millions of Naira and has its headquarters at the University of Port Harcourt. Igbo leaders, you are asleep at the switch, wake up. If you don’t sooner than later the river Niger at Onitsha will be the boundary between the Igbo and the Yoruba. Hmm! Hmm!! Hmm!!! Ndi Igbo, anya saa unu.

This is not fairly tale. The entire Yoruba land almost as far as Lagos was originally inhabited by Ndigbo until the Yoruba of the Oyo empire invaded the land from across the Jebba side of the river Niger and after prolonged wars overran much of what is today called Western Nigeria. Many Westerners such as the Ijebu, Igbominna and others are actually not Yoruba but Igbo. When Ade Obayemi, a Yoruba doctoral student traced this history in his Ph.D. thesis at the University of Ibadan, Yoruba ethnic jingoist professors vowed that his thesis will never see the light of day and refused to give him a Ph.D. Today there are dozens of sources that have confirmed that the entire Yoruba land is actually Igbo land. Chief Adegboyega and his fellow ethnic jingoists can run from the truth but they will never be able to hide. The truth is out and will pursue them where ever they run.

The good people of Eastern Nigeria and the people of the Middle Belt you can now see the predicament you are in. If you sleep at the switch you will be driven off your land by the land grabbing Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba oligarchs. Don’t say we did not warn you in time. You have been warned the rest is up to you.

Ndigbo and other Biafrans the price of liberty is eternal vigilance. Onye ndi iro gbara gburugburu n’eche ndu ya nche mgbe nile. Ndi Biafra unu arahukwana ura. May God bless the Sovereign Republic of Biafra and all those fighting for her freedom!
