Wife of Lagos lawyer Festus Keyamo, Irene Isioma, has dragged him before an Ikeja High Court over the custody of their two children whom he allegedly abandoned over two years ago. Irene, who instituted the action before Justice Elfreda Dawodu-Williams, is praying the court for an order restraining Keyamo from having full custody of two of their children who are five and two and half years old respectively.

She told the court that she had been living with the children for over two years after Keyamo threw them out of his matrimonial home when the second child was barely six months old.Irene further told the court that she had been taking care of the children until recently when Keyamo started showing interest to play a role in their upbringing and education.
Although she did not ask for the dissolution of their marriage, she prayed the court not to grant full custody of the children to Keyamo.The matter was adjourned till 6 October this year.
