Ogbulafor begs God

Hear Mr. Ogbulafor sounding almost like Barack Obama, the United States president-elect, “We assure you, we will do our best and like I always say the challenge is ours, and the time is now and the place is here”. Then waxing prophetic, he declared, ” PDP will rule Nigeria whether they like it or not upward and lot less than 60 years”. The ‘they’ he was referring to probably would be Mr. Buhari who resides in Kaduna and who had lost the election petition challenge

The Impudence of the Peoples Democratic Party

Hear Mr. Ogbulafor sounding almost like Barack Obama, the United States president-elect, “We assure you, we will do our best and like I always say the challenge is ours, and the time is now and the place is here”. (Guardian Newspaper 19/12/08)

Then waxing prophetic, he declared, ” PDP will rule Nigeria whether they like it or not upward and lot less than 60 years”. The ‘they’ he was referring to probably would be Mr. Buhari who resides in Kaduna and who had lost the election petition challenge.

Either way the message to Nigerians is loud and clear that they are in for 60 or more years of PDP non-rule and that they should brace themselves for the challenges ahead or accept the unfolding reality.

The thing about prophesies is that human factors play significant parts in their fulfilment and all things for their necessary fulfilments must be correctly aligned to make for the reality prophesied.

The Madness of King Nebuchadnezzar

(Excerpts of article by Kingsley Omose December 2008)

Like King Nebuchadnezzar, the PDP is now declaring, “We assure you, we will do our best and like I always say the challenge is ours, and the time is now and the place is here. PDP will rule Nigeria whether they like it or not upward and lot less than 60 years “. (Prince Vincent Ogbulafor PDP National Chairman-Guardian Newspaper 19/12/08)

The declaration of God is that, come April 2011, the Umbrella, the PDP symbol of authority shall be taken from the hands of the PDP whose members will be exposed to the elements just as they have exposed Nigerians to the elements.

Their access to the high places will be blocked until they come to realize that power and authority is given by the Most High God, unless the PDP will heed the cries of Nigerians for deliverance and forthwith cease from its wrong doings.

Wither the Peoples Democratic Party

(Excerpts of article by Kingsley Omose 1/2/2010)

It is said that man proposes but God disposes, but in its political permutations and arrangements PDP and its leaders had obviously crossed the line by delving into divine matters in their bid to tie up the destiny of Nigeria for the next 60 years.

Now the leaders of the PDP are the ones running from pillar to post in a race against time to stop the goose that lays the golden egg from escaping because continued support for the power rotation principle and the leadership vacuum at Aso Rock equates to a suicide mission come 2011.

Should Jonathan Goodluck who is from the Southern part of Nigeria become acting President then the power rotation principle would have been set aside with the possibility that the PDP may lose the support and membership of those whose political fate is tied to the adherence of that principle.

There is still a chance that the PDP may still get it right by standing for constitutionalism in addressing the leadership vacuum in Aso Rock and by putting the welfare and wellbeing of Nigerians as its primary agenda before the next General Elections.

But should the PDP continue with its present arrogant posturing on the subject of the power vacuum due to its power rotation principle, it will be cut off from the corridors of power until it comes to the realization that it is God who rules in the affairs of men and gives power to those He wills.

Power belongs to God, PDP tells VP

(Excerpts of news report in Vanguard Newspaper 4/2/2010)

National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Vincent Ogbulafor, yesterday, urged Vice President Goodluck Jonathan to wait for God’s intervention as power belongs to God.

This is coming on the heels of repeated calls by eminent Nigerians, Civil Society organizations, media chiefs and other bodies across the country, that President Umaru Yar’Adua, who has been away in Saudi Arabia on medical attention, in the last 73 days, should properly hand over power to Vice President Jonathan in acting capacity.

Ogbulafor, in a statement titled “Goodwill message from the Peoples’ Democratic Party to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCON,” said: “Furthermore, the words of the Holy Scripture in Psalm 62:11 are apt for this moment, that ‘God has spoken once, twice, I have heard this: That power belongs to God.’”
