A team of Transform Nigeria Movement, TNM members in Abuja led by Law Mefor (Ag. N/Central Zonal Coordinator) submitted a copy of the TNM petition against NASS Jumbo Pay to the ICPC yesterday, 1st September, 2010. The occasion was without fanfare since the elaborate submission of the petition with the EFCC has scored that point.
TNM action was principally informed by the need to strengthen the anticorruption agency which has since moved into investigation, ahead of the EFCC.
The TNM team was assured by the ICPC officials that the fresh insights offered by our petition will be incorporated in what is being done already by the Commission with the promise to follow the issue to its logical conclusion.
TNM is hereby further advised to brace up for a court action which is the only way to ensure that this issue is not swept under the carpet as usual, a view rigorously canvassed by Law Mefor for TNM in an interview with Vanguard newspaper published also yesterday.
