Ibe Kachikwu To Contest For 2019 Delta State Guber Election
Minister of Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu is contesting for Delta State governorship election in 2019.
No wonder he has been running his mouth in every All Progressives Congress [APC] meetings condemning the current occupant of the seat, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who happens to be his friend.
This is someone who has been unable to manage the fuel scarcity of the country for three months now.
Under his nose, fuel is now officially N200 with buyers staying under the sun and in queue just to get it.
The N200 has come to stay without announcement by the FG and he wants to run for Delta gubernatorial race.
As much as he has the right to contest, he must come with equity. He can’t be part of a failed Federal Government and expects to run down another leadership because he eyes the seat.
One’s brother, Dumebi, is currently enjoying the patronage of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation [NNPC] and Petroleum Ministry, while also collecting money from people through alleged deceit.
While welcoming him to the ring of play and wishing him well in his underground consultation, he should bear in mind that people like him must stay above board.
Politics brings out secret sins that were never discussed or reported until you decide to stir the waters.
