4 white cops fired over death of black man with officer kneeling on his neck [video]
Four Minneapolis cops have been fired after video showed a white officer kneeling on the neck of a handcuffed black man for six minutes on Monday during arrest for alleged forgery leading to his death.
Minneapolis police chief announced this on Wednesday saying the police officers involved in incident have been fired.
Video footage taken by a bystander had showed a white police officer kneeling on the neck of the black man identified as George Floyd during the arrest.
The Late Floyd was heard repeatedly telling the officers that he is in pain and cannot breathe before he eventually lost consciousness.
Police authorities confirmed that the man later died in the hospital after ‘suffering medical distress’.
Two officers in the video were identified as Derek Chauvin and Tou Thao by attorney Ben Crump.
