72 stranded Nigerian ladies repatriated from Lebanon [video]


Some seventy-two stranded Nigerians ladies were, over the weekend, repatriated from Lebanon.

The Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this in a series of tweets on its Twitter handle on Sunday.

According to the Ministry, the 72 Nigerian Ladies that were part of a group of Nigerians stranded in Lebanon.

They arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on a special Middle East Airlines flight, at 4pm.

The repatriation, the Ministry said, was facilitated by the Embassy of Nigeria in Beirut, Lebanon in collaboration with the Lebanese Embassy in Abuja.

The highly elated ladies were received on arrival by Senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and after necessary documentation were later handed over to officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and NAPTIP for the needed reintegration process.
