This is Abiri Jones.

He was taken to Kuje prison yesterday AND he will be there upto Sept.

In 2016 DSS arrested him & kept him in detention for 2-years; without access to family or lawyer.

When will his ordeal end?

The arrests of Abiri Jones were always in commando like manner, with much humiliation & pain. Initially officials will deny arresting him. His family thrown into ample anxiety. Later he will emerge in DSS cell. After 2-years in secret detention his life turned upside down.

This is a sad case. What do they say is his crime?

The life of journalist Abiri Jones has been of arrest, detention, perpetually adjourned court hearings, jail in Kuje, jail in DSS underground cells. Right now he is in Kuje prison. His ordeal is far from over. For how long will authorities continue to make life difficult for him?

Journalist Abiri Jones was in court again YESTERDAY, but his case was adjourned. He will again be in Kuje prison till Sept. He has been detained since March. He was also detained by secret services for 2-years without access to family or lawyers. We demand justice.
