Many people have been reportedly feared dead and property razed as members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) clashed with security forces in Orlu, Imo State.

An Imo based journalist who spoke with ElombahNews on the phone said that the crisis started last week when IPOB members, the police and army had a serious face-off.

The clash according to reports led to the unfortunate death of some security men in the State.

A resident of the city who doesn’t want his name on print said that the security agencies were on a reprisal mission after losing some of their personnel last week.
