Immediately the Supreme Court announced the ruling in favor of Victor Oye, the Anambra State governor and his wife flew back to the state with smiles.
The three musketeers, Obiano, Oye and Umeh
After the Supreme Court decided yesterday in favor of Victor Oye who is holding brief for Victor Umeh, the governor and his wife flew back to the state with smiles and our team of reporters is saying congratulations.
We should remember that the tension mounting to the judgement made the governor to take a self-imposed exile in America in other to watch the judgment from a distance.
Meanwhile, the governor will be going to Agulu today to announce to the town that he has defeated Agulu son Mr Peter Obi in the Supreme Court.
As if to say that he is now King of Agulu and that he conquered Agulu the great town.
We should also not forgot that last year December , Sir Victor Umeh went to Alor 3 times pleading with Ngige not to allow Senator Uche Ekwunife into the party also to deny her the party ticket , thinking that APC is like APGA where Umeh is the life Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, PRO , NWC , EXCO .
Dr Chris Ngige in his reaction told him that APC is a political party and not one man show, where a single person will decide what goes that APC has structures that are working and with duties defined.
When Ngige is not showing sign of sweet to the deal, Umeh took Gov Obiano along to plead his case, the outcome of that is not known yet, but the problem is why this drive to see Ekwunife stopped?
Does it mean he cannot stop her as he claimed through ballot?
Did he not claim to have beaten her before? If he beat her before, he can beat her again, so why the haste to get her out of the race?
Does it not show that the woman is truly with a Midas touch?
What kind of desperation is this that a woman who Umeh said bends down to pee will make a titled man this desperate and miserable?
As we wait and watch to see if Victor Oye should step up to the plate an act as the leader by conducting APGA primaries or he shall continue to act like a puppet , we pray that this dry season will help the governor to remember all the abandoned road projects littered in the state.
