The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on Wednesday fired three commissioners from his cabinet.
The affected commissioners are:
1. Mr Folorunsho Folarin-Coker – Tourism
2. Dr. Mustapha Akinkunmi – Finance and,
3. Dr. Ekundayo Mobereola, Transport.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello, announced the cabinet reshuffle by the governor.
The statement said Ambode directed the Special Adviser, Arts and Culture to take over as the Acting Commissioner for Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
The Special Adviser on Transportation will take over as Acting Commissioner for Transportation.
Also, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance will take over as the Acting Commissioner for Finance.
They will be in acting capacity pending the appointment of new Commissioners in the respective ministries.
Ambode thanked the former Commissioners for their service to the State and wished them well in their future endeavours.
No reason was given for the decision.
