Anambra 2021: Etiaba dumps APC, to vie in another party
One of the leading aspirants in the forthcoming Anambra Governorship election Chief Ben Etiaba has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) following the controversial primary election that produced Senator Andy Emmanuel Uba as the party’s flagbearer.
Chief Etiaba resigned from the party on Wednesday, August 4 and is set to declare on another Political party.
Etiaba, who said he will address a press conference on Saturday in Abuja said he will present his running mate at the new party.
Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, he said: “Having resigned my membership of the All Progressives Congress I do wish APC well, just as I acknowledged.
“I thank the party for availing me the opportunity to ventilate my political aspiration on their platform.”
