The attached photos and video show the deplorable condition of roads abandoned by the Governor Willie Obiano-led government in Anambra State.
Our correspondent, Mr. Odumodu Gbulagu wrote:
“Where is ARMA?
“Before he left office, Mr. Peter Obi took some actions to make governance easy for his successor, Chief Willie Obiano.
1. Obi left over 75 billion Naira for him
2. Obi took him round and introduced him to all international agencies
3. Obi left 2-year salaries of workers he employed at the twilight of his government
4. Obi handed him Anambra State Road Maintenance Agency
“The road maintenance agency handed over to him had full compliment of equipment. But as soon as Obiano took over, he made his relation the head.
“Rather than use the equipment to work, they started renting it out. Some emergency contractors of Aguleri emerged and started using the equipment.
“Today, after messing up ARMA, they started using interlock to maintain our roads.
“The attached pictures are various sections of Amawbia by-pass Obiano’s engineers used interlock to maintain.
Anambra is in ruins!
