We consulted the Supreme Court registry over the implications of the judgement.

A clerk who wants to stay anonymous said and I quote: “Supreme Court did not rule on any election matters, election matters that is below governors and presidency”

We reached out to another Anambra state legal luminary and demand a legal interpretation of the matter and he said, “It is childish to read people conclude that Supreme Court will remove a senator whose case in not even before them”.

The Supreme Court ruled on who is the authentic chairman of PDP Anambra State; they ruled that it is Oguebego.

Supreme Court did not rule on the list of authentic candidates, therefore how should they remove senators and replace them with those who never contested election?

Supreme Court amended the ruling after Omehia vs Amaechi and resolved that it is only those that contested election shall benefit from the election in question.

The implications are that Andy Ubah, Stella Oduah remains the senators and a re-run is coming up in the central as slated by Court of Appeal.
