The ruling All Progressives Congress [APC] held its National Executive Committee [NEC] meeting in Abuja on Tuesday at its secretariat in Abuja.
The meeting was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki and other party leaders.
Previously on Monday night, President Buhari hosted a caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
The meeting was one of several meetings he held with members of his party on Monday.
Earlier, he had met with the leaders of the National Assembly, the party chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun and national leader and former governor of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The caucus meeting was also attended by Oyegun and Tinubu.
