The Omu-Aran Development Association (ODA) in Kwara says the appointment of its General Secretary, Mr. Jide Oyinloye, as Irepodun Local Government Transition Implementation Committee (TIC) chairman will bring positive changes in the area.
The ODA in a statement on Friday by its spokesperson, Mr. Olayinka Owolewa, described the appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
The statement commended Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for finding Oyinloye worthy of the appointment.
The association expressed believes that AbdulRazaq’s all-inclusive pattern of running the state has generated a better expression about governance in the state.
The ODA believed that Oyinloye, who was two term assistant secretary of the association before becoming the Secretary at the 2020 Annual General Meeting, would perform creditably based on his track record of dedication and commitment to community issues.
The statement however advised the new TIC chairman to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his duties by embarking on projects that have direct bearing on the people of the area.
It also urged him to operate an open door policy devoid of sentiment or any primordial consideration inimical to the development of the area. (NAN)
