BREAKING: Buhari swears in 3 INEC Commissioners
Buhari presides over virtual FEC meeting
President Muhammadu Buhari has, on Wednesday, sworn-in three new National Commissioners into the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
President Buhari administered the oath of office on the new commissioners just before the commencement of the week’s virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Those sworn-in are Dr Baba Bila representing the North-East zone, Professor Sani Adam, North-Central and Professor Abdullahi Abdu, representing North-West.
Meanwhile, the president also presiding over the week’s FEC meeting which saw Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha,present.
Also present are the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, Ministers of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, Works and Housing, Babtunde Fashola (SAN) and Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbeshola.
Others attended virtually from their various locations.
