Breaking: Buhari’s personal bodyguard died of suspected Covid19

One of President Muhammadu Buhari’s personal bodyguards, Warrant Officer Lawal Mato has died of an ailment suspected to be Covid19.

ElombahNews was reliably informed that Warrant Officer Mato died early Tuesday morning.

Mato, it was gathered has been battling diabetes for three years before he suddenly died on Tuesday.

Mr. Mato had been working with President Buhari for many years as a personal bodyguard long before he won the 2015 elections.

Our source expressed serious conviction that Mato, who has diabetes as an underlying sickness, was killed by Covid19, the pandemic which has been ravaging the entire globe.

He drew analysis from Abba Kyari, Buhari’s late Chief of Staff who also died of Covid19 but reportedly struggled with diabetes until Covid19 killed him.

On his part, President Buhari confirmed the death of WO Mato.

He described him as “very thorough, trustworthy and dependable soldier who carried out his duty with diligence and focus.”

He prayed that Allah will ease his passage to paradise and grant his family, govt and people of Jigawa the fortitude to bear the loss.
