It could be recalled that the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Jimoh Moshood had called Governor Ortom a “drowning man” during a heated argument with the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Terver Akase.
The duo had argued over the series of violence that has left many dead since the beginning of the year.
In a motion is sponsored by Rep. Mark Gbillah, the Lawmakers considered a motion demanding his immediate removal for such derogatory remarks.
Not done with that, they have also ordered IGP Idris to provide an unreserved apology to Governor Ortom.
