The home of Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has been raided by security operatives, Elombah.com has gathered.
Recall that Senator Ekweremadu had, on Wednesday, May 3, alerted that there is ongoing plot by Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crime Commission [EFCC] to plant huge sum of money and other valuables in his guest house in Enugu.
Ekweremadu made this known while raising point of order on the matter in the floor of the Senate on the said day.
He told his colleagues than he has it on good authority in a letter from an unnamed “good Samaritan”, that the EFCC plans to plant the money in different international currencies on his property in Enugu and then subsequently effect a raid.
Elombah.com has been reliably informed that the feared raid was effected today and will furnish more details as they unfold.
