BREAKING: INEC declares Akeredolu winner of Ondo Polls
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the incumbent governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu as the winner of the October 10, 2020 governorship election.
INEC Returning Officer, Prof Idowu Olayinka, declared Akeredolu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), winner.
Akeredolu polled 292,830 votes to beat his closest rival, Eyitayo Jegede, the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 195,791.
Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) scored 69,127 votes to finish third.
