The report stated further that Chief Afam Obi was abducted in Oraifite on his way back to Nnewi from a burial.
In the meantime, as soon as he was smuggled into the palace, he immediately ordered that the premises be shut down from visitors.
He also reportedly stopped all movements to and from the premises.
Primary investigations conducted by this medium showed that the traditional ruler is right now lying low in his palace.
According to our source, his secret return home and acclaimed “release” is shrouded in mystery as the puzzle behind several information of his kidnap and release are yet to add up.
In the meantime, it is not clear if any ransom was paid to effect his release and no celebration of any sort has been witnessed in the palace of Obi Uruagu.
