A former Nigerian Ambassador to Australia and Greece, Professor Olu Agbi is dead.
Professor Agbi died Wednesday morning after a brief and undisclosed illness at the age of 73.
Agbi, a professor of history, was also the chairman of the Elders Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] in Ondo State.
He reportedly slumped in his house in Akure, the Ondo state capital, and was rushed to a hospital where he died.
Professor Agbi made his last public appearance at the just concluded PDP national convention held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he was one of the delegates.
