BREAKING: Njoku APGA faction holds primary election after Oye’s futile court order
The Chief Edozie Njoku faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has, on Tuesday, held primary election for the Anambra State governorship election after the Ozo Victor Oye faction tried to stop them through a court injunction.
The primary was held in Awka, the state capital, with media and other observers present.
Chief Njoku confirmed the election to ElombahNews during a brief telephone interview.
He said he kept quiet for some time because the Oye faction stopped him from holding primaries as well as other party activities via court injunction.
He said they vacated the injunction yesterday and held primaries today.
ElombahNews will publish the official paperwork soon, including details of the primary election.
