The Bayelsa State Governorship Election Tribunal has nullified the November 16, 2019 governorship election.
The election saw the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP), Senator Duoye Diri declared as the governor.
The tribunal ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh election within 90 days.
The three-man panel nullified the election over the exclusion of Action Democratic Party (ADP) and its candidate, King George from the exercise.
