BREAKING: Visitation panel on UNILAG crisis submits report to FG
The Special Visitation Panel set up to evaluate the crisis at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has submitted a report of its findings to the Federal Government.
The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu received the report on behalf of the federal government on Thursday.
Mallam Adamu had inaugurated the panel which was headed by Prof. Tukur Sa’ad.
The Minister, while receiving the report, assured that the recommendations of the panel would be thoroughly scrutinised and implemented where and when necessary.
The Chairman of the panel, on his part, expressed hope that the report will bring an end to the crisis in the university.
Recall that the panel was set following the removal of the varsity’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, by its governing council.
