Buhari bribing parties to pull out of coalition – ADC
“Buhari/APC bribing Coalitions Parties with N50 million to pull out of merger with PDP, we rejected them and they come back with N100 million” – ADC National Chairman
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Presidency of attempt to bribe its members with N100 million to cause crisis in the party.
ADC National Chairman, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu, told a joint delegation of International Republic Institute (IRI) and National Democratic Institute (NDI) who visited the party’s National Secretariat yesterday, that the ruling party is sharing N50 million to opposition parties in an attempt to cause crisis within the parties.
“I heard that they have upped that of ADC to N100 million. But they will fail,” he declared.
About 39 opposition parties, two weeks ago, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to unseat President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Nwosu told his guests that the ruling party and the presidency are causing mischief within the parties.
“Despite the poverty in the land, the ruling party and government have unlimited budget for bribing electorate, electoral bodies, and causing mischief,” he said.
