Buhari Didn’t Submit WAEC Certificate — US War College
The US War College has denied that President Muhammadu Buhari submitted his credentials to the College to qualify for its training.
The Institution made the denial while responding to a Freedom of Information request by a private investigator, one Mr. Victor Uwajeh.
According to the letter, Mr. Uwajeh, a private investigator, requested it to accept or deny the claim that Buhari had submitted his certificate during enrolment.
In response, the War College Director of Human Resources, Jamie D. Zucker said that “prior to the introduction of the Master of the Strategic Studies [MSS] degree in 2000… no undergraduate or graduate credentials were required/submitted for attendance”.
This letter, therefore, completely puts to lie any claims that Buhari submitted his West African Examination Council [WAEC] certificate during enrolment.
Responding to the US War College response, Uwajeh, in a tweet on Sunday, said:
“US war college confirmed to me that President Buhari didn’t submit any credentials for enrollment into the college,” he tweeted.
WAEC recently gave Buhari an attestation certificate as proof that he sat for the examination several decades ago.
