Buhari, Gowon, Saraki, others converge for national prayer

President Muhammadu Buhari and former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon will tomorrow join members of the National Assembly [NASS] to pray for the repositioning of the country.

Others expected to attend the 6th National Prayer Breakfast include : Senator Bukola Saraki, Senate President, Yakubu Dogara, Speaker of the House of Representatives, former Heads of State and State Governors.

Also expected are Federal, State and Local Government legislators across the country, members of the Diplomatic Corps and captains of industry.

Senator Barnabas Gemade (APC-Benue) who doubles as President of Christian Legislators’ Fellowship gave the hint while briefing newsmen in Abuja.

He explained that Dr. Tamrat Layne Admassu, former Prime Minister of Ethiopia will deliver the keynote address at the National Prayer Breakfast which will take place at Thisday Dome in Abuja.

“We hope that well-meaning Nigerians will join us as we pray to God to guide all decisions and actions of this government to reposition Nigeria for greatness.

“It’s all about our faith and there is no limitation whatsoever in the scale of life for those who want to work for their life and work for their faith.”

He further explained that the prayer breakfast is expected to have President Muhamadu Buhari as Special Guest of Honour.
