Reacting to the development, a source from the presidency told ElombahNews  that “there is a serious scandal on arms in this government too”.

He raised serious doubts about the real deal behind the scandal, wondering the possibility of the Nigerian Government releasing such humongous amount of money without due diligence.

The source noted: “The Nigerien suspect, Hima, is wanted which suggests the whole defense intelligence apparatchiks of Nigeria cannot find the person they contracted to supply arms to them?”

He concluded by saying that one fateful day the truth behind the scandal will surface and the bubble will burst.
