Christian Youths Group Replies Buhari On More Muslim Deaths From Boko Haram
President Muhammadu Buhari claim that, 90% of Boko Haram victims are Muslim, is as false as it is a display of the government insensibility to the killings of Christians, and its quite unconvincing, unimpressive and the unmarketable narrative to minimize and distort facts on ground, on the astronomical persecution and killings of Christians under his watch.
The aim and objective of the murderous group is to make north in particular and Nigeria at large an Islamic State and eliminate all those that doesn’t believe in Islam and don’t support it, in an audio type release. In the local Hausa dialect, Boko Haram means “Western education is forbidden and the group also referred to itself as Jama’atu Ahlis Sunnaa Lidda’awati Wal-Jihad, meaning” people Committed to the Propagation of the Prophet’s Teachings and Jihad”. So it is crystal clear and beyond any analogue, digital or scientific argument that Christians are the primary targets of Boko Haram.
Starting from it’s reported attack on November 4, 2011, on eleven (11) churches in Yobe & Borno states, to the April 14, 2014, kidnap of approximately 276 teenage girls from a boarding school which ninety nine percent (99%) were Christians in a Christian community called Chibok in Borno state.
Then to the twin blast in the city of Jos the capital of a Christian majority state that claimed the lives of one hundred & eighteen (118) people at a market on may 21, 2014, to the gruesomely execution of eleven (11) Christians on 25th December 2019, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Michika LGA chairman, Pastor Lawan Andimiand and Daciya Dalep, a biology education student of the university of Maiduguri.
This is to mention but an infinitesimally insignificant of Christians and Christian communities, not to mention the humongous number of unreported attacks. Most of the communities attacked in the North East and central states in particular are Christian communities which has now spread all over Nigeria.
Some of the isolated cases of attack on Mosques and Muslims are because, they are perceived as sympathizes with Christians and informants to the government or communities. That is not to say those peoples lives are not important because, every life is sacrosanct.
So President Buhari and his lieutenants narrative are desperate attempt to deliberately mislead and misinform the guiable general public to cover up the fact that, they have failed in securing the lives and properties of all Nigerians most especially Christians.
The Sunday January 26, 2020, bombing of a Mosque in Gwoza in Borno state that led to the death of a twelve (12) year old boy by boko haram and the 2nd February, 2020, attempted bombing of a Living Faith Church in sabon Tasha area in chikun local government area of Kaduna state and the drama surrounding the identity of the culprit with two identity, Nathaniel Samuel or mohamad sobi has expose the desperate efforts to water down the tens of thousands of Christians that has been killed.
The President’s statements, body language and silence has encourage unabated killings of Christians by bandits, Fulani herdsmen, boko haram and ISWAP. Rather than finding solution to the incessant killings of Christians, the President and his media vuvuzelas are busy trying in vain to reconstruct the unrecontructable narratives.
Why is President Buhari afraid of replacing the service chiefs? Is it because they are living up to his hiding agenda? Because with such an impressively poor performance records, the least that is expected of the President is to remove them.
We therefore, lend our voice to the millions of Nigerians calling for the resignation of President Buhari for the unprecedented insecurity, him and his minister of information and culture’s false claims that deserved to be in the world Guinness book of records.
