Clerics to storm Onitsha to groom leaders, fight poverty

Program aimed at capacity building, financial breakthroughs Free accommodation, free feeding assured

A crack team of renowned Clerics will, on Monday next week, storm the commercial city of Onitsha for a three day program aimed at addressing the challenges posed by poor leadership and high rate of poverty in Nigeria as it is affecting the people in the commercial city and beyond.

The program which is put together by Maximum Impact Leadership Development Centre, Onitsha, is tagged Maximum Impact 2020 Ministers Camp Meeting.

It is scheduled to hold at the popular Sharon Hall GRA Onitsha from Monday to Wednesday next week.

The Theme of the program is tagged: The Dominion of the Sons of God.

Ahead of the event, the organiser and President of Maximum Impact Leadership Centre, Bishop Moses Ezedebego addressed a press conference in Onitsha.

Bishop Ezedebego explained that the program is designed to enhance the capacity of Church leaders for effectiveness in most critical area of fighting the high rate of poverty and economic hardship in the country.

He added that the three day program is also targeted at capacity building for political leaders, community leaders and market leaders in Christian perspective.

Ezedebego, who is also the State Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Anambra State Chapter, stated that the program is an annual event which the Maximum Impact Leadership Centre do sacrificially as part of its contributions for a better society.

He stated that participants will have free accommodation and free feeding for the three days of the event but will pay a thousand Naira each to obtain the material that they are going to use for learning.

He said the major emphasis of the program is leadership because, according to him, every other thing about life revolves around leadership.

He noted that when the leadership is right and working effectively, other things are definitely going to be right and working too.

“But when the leadership is bad,” he said, “things go bad too, so the program is meant to develop and prepare people mostly believers and born again Christans for various leadership in the Church, markets and political circles.”

According to him, renowned men of God who are gifted in various fields such as leadership training, discipleship, kingdom advancement and financial breakthrough have been invited to do justice to the program and ensure that the three-day Heavenly service lives up to expectations.

Among them are Archbishop AA Nwodika from Enugu, who is a kingdom advancement teacher who is a giant and father in the vineyard of God, Bishop Humphrey Erumaka who is an expert in Leadership training and Bishop E.C. Obiora, a great teacher on discipleship and financial security and breakthroughs.

Others are Bishop Jones Hussein from Niger Republic, who is an expert in developing people for good leadership, Apostle Godwin Folarin from South Africa who is also a wonderful speaker, Rev Phil Nwokolo, Apostle Jonathan Okafor and Godspower Anaso among others.

Some eminent personalities from business community as well as the political circle are also expected to attend.

They include popular business in Onitsha and Chairman/CEO Witech Group of Companies Dr Chidizie Nwankwo, SA to Governor Willie Obiano on Conflict Resolution Pastor Ejike Nwachukwu among others.

Asked to comment on what is expected of the programe in the area of the bad security situation in Nigeria, the Anambra PFN boss noted that the program is not ignorant of the bad security situation in Nigeria.

He stressedg that participants will be inwardly equipped for outward security with the word of God and annointing of holy spirit.

“The key to security of lives and property is inward through the word of God and annointing of holy spirit and when you are secured inward the outward is guaranteed, so the program is going to equip participants inwardly for outward security,” he added.
