Corruption: Ihedioha To Shoot Film On Okorocha
The governor of Imo State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha has recruited some notable filmmakers with a mandate to produce a film which would be tagged a documentary on former Governor Rochas Okorocha’s years in office, ElombahNews has gathered.
The film, which script is said to have been prepared already, will have as title “Okorocha’s Eight Years of Mindless Looting and Destruction“.
It was learnt that some actors have been hired and are presently rehearsing on how to act as real Imo citizens who are dissatisfied with the Okorocha’s administration.
According to our source, “these actors who will be paid enticing artiste fees are allegedly already camped in one of the biggest hotels in Owerri, with links to a South African company.
“Some of the major features in the film are fictional stories about suspicious award of contracts, educational fund diversion and other make-believe stories.”
Our source urged Imolites to be on the lookout for the film which is being sponsored with their money.
Ihedioha has been at logger-heads with his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, who he accused of massive embezzlement of public funds.
Several committees have been inaugurated by the Ihedioha administration with special assignment to recover all stolen Imo State properties by the past governor.
