COVID-19 Vaccine: Right Activist Berates Buhari’s administration
Nigeria cannot produce COVID-19 vaccine at present because of the complex process involved, the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Faisal Shuaib, has said.
Shuaib, who spoke at the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 media briefing on Monday, explained that producing a vaccine requires huge investment and technologies which are not readily available in Nigeria.
Reacting to the statement of Shuaib, Comrade Paul Njoku, a frontline human right activist in a statement said, “That is the Buhari government for you. APC-led Federal Government can’t take challenges and absorb responsibilities despite the unprecedented sum borrowed since inception.”
The right activist in a statement sent ElombahNews said Buhari’s administration is shamelessly ready to happily negotiate and pay any amount of money to terrorists and bandits to stop killing Nigerians but can’t take up the task of finding a COVID-19 vaccine for Nigerians.
