Covid19 hits record 779 new cases in a day in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has stated that Nigeria has hit a new record of Covid19 cases across 22 states of the country.

The new record saw 779 new cases on Saturday, the highest discovery per day since the Covid19 pandemic onslaught in the country.

With the latest discovery, the number of confirmed COVID19 cases reported in Nigeria jumped to 24,077.

Meanwhile, 8,625 have been discharged while 558 persons have died from the disease.
