Dogara Hails 5 Girls that Won World Technovation Contest

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara has hailed the quintuple of Promise Nnalue, Jessica Osita, Nwabuaku Ossai, Adaeze Onuigbo and Vivian Okoye of Regina Paecies Secondary School, Onitsha, Anambra State.

The five school girls recently won Gold in the World Technovation Challenge held in the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, USA.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Dogara congratulated the five “exceptional young women who have done us all proud by clinching the gold medal at the Technovation Challenge in Silicon Valley”.

He tweeted:

The Speaker said that “their innovation, FD-Detector, tackles the menace of fake drugs, a serious challenge in our country.”

He, therefore, commended the “brilliant girls for being resourceful and thinking of a solution to a persistent problem, and I hope this feat inspires others to emulate them.”

On its part, the Anambra state government has pledged to honour the five students of Regina Paecies Secondary School, Onitsha for winning Gold in the World Technovation Challenge held in the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, USA.
