DSS Mounts Pressure on Imo PDP Director of New Media to Apologize to Uzodinma


Fact emerged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Director of New Media, Ambrose
Nwaogwugwu is under pressure from Department of State Service (DSS) to. to write an Apology letter to Governor Hope Uzodinma.

information available to Imo Watch News revealed that Nwaogwugwu has refused to own up to any of the allegation against him, asking the DSS to take him to Court.

It was also gathered that the Government House in Imo has asked the DSS to continue to detain him and also prevent anybody from seeing him, as that is the only way he can feel abandoned and succumb to their pressure.

A legal partitioner who pleaded for anonymity said that if he eventually writes an apology, the Government may use the said apology letter to charge him to court and jail him,.

He noted that Nwaogwugwu’s stand of not succumbing to their tricks is the best for him.

Information from PDP in the state showed that the party has perfected plans of heading to a federal high court to demand for his unconditional release.

The PDP legal team is said to be led by a team of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).

When asked about Ambrose Nwaogwugwu’s State of health, the informant revealed that he is in high spirit and doing very fine, he is however afraid if his continued detention will not lead him into succumbing to their antics.
