Edo 2020: Ihonvbere expresses confidence APC to clean sweep Owan West/East
Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, the member representing Owan West/East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress will record a clean sweep in his constituency in the Sept. 19 Edo Governorship election.
He said this while speaking at the APC ward-to-ward campaign rally at Ozall, Owan West Local Government Council on Thursday.
Prof. Ihonvbere says the Owan people believe in the leadership qualities of the APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and will deliver their votes to him on Election Day.
He hailed Ize-Iyamu as an experienced, focused, and trusted man of God who would engender inclusive growth and development across the three senatorial districts of the state if elected as Governor.
He said: “Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is a grassroots politician and with a network of supporters across the state and country with genuine plans to contribute to the growth and development of the Edo.”
“He believes in human security and community security, because when there is security, creativity thrives and investments are attracted.”
According to Prof. Ihonvbere, the incumbent administration led by Governor Godwin Obaseki has failed to record any achievement or execute a project in the Owan Federal Constituency since its emergence four years ago.
“Owan people need good roads, schools, hospitals, security and all-round development. APC will do well in Owan constituency because the party has shown clear plans on how to bring about all of these, hence, winning strong supporters and well-grounded grassroots mobilizers.”
